Jedec Tray Handler and Robotic Busbar Loader

This machine takes a stack of Jedec Trays, loads them onto a smart conveyor, moves the trays into position, clamps the trays in a precise position, loads the trays using a robot with busbars from a busbar cassette with elevator, moves the trays to the Tray Upstack, then stores the trays in the Upstack tray handler.Describe your video.

Automated Sort and Retreival

This is a FIFO (first in first out) Sort and Retrieval system. It involves a 3 axis gantry style robot arm with dual gripper. PLC controlled with stepper motors. This modular system stores 198 cassettes of two different sizes and mates with a Flexlink conveyor.

Steel Belt Assembly Automation

This machine automates the assembly of a medical device. It is designed to operate in a class 10,000 cleanroom. This system has a custom designed cleated steel belt. Accuracy is +/- .005 inches. It loads plastic parts from vibratory bowl feeders, laser cuts and heat seals clear film on both sides from a roll, then performs a leak down pressure test. The machine places good parts in one bin and failed parts in another. Maximum capacity is 8 parts every 3 seconds. This machine was installed in 1998, still has the original steel belt and currently runs 20 hours a day. Designed and Built by Stirling Engineering, Inc. See: www.StirlingEng.com (408) 229-2569

Hard Disc Texture Cell

This machine automates the texturizing of hard discs. It is designed to operate in a wet environment and class 10,000 cleanroom. This system integrates a robot to load 5 rotating vacuum spindles, an automated brush to clean the spindles, and a recirculating slurry system and nozzles which dispense slurry onto the discs. The robot also handles cassettes from a wet conveyor into a tank with nests. Designed and Built by Stirling Engineering, Inc. See: www.StirlingEng.com (408) 229-2569Describe your video.

Hard Disc Certifier Cell

This machine automates the loading of hard disk certifiers and sorting them into grades. It also handles cassettes from input conveyors onto nests and to output conveyors. It is designed to operate in a class 10,000 cleanroom. This system tracks information from third party testers to determine the sort grade. Stirling Engineering, Inc.
